How to Make Anthotypes

The concern about climate change, the aim to improve the way we relate to our planet and contribute to a more sustainable way of life, and the determination to rise your voice and take an active part in this or another matter. Whatever it is, we want to hear from you.

These 2 video tutorials (5 minutes each) are focused on creating artistic images, using raw materials that are respectful of the environment. The first video will guide you through the process of building your own camera obscura, and the second video will show you how to create anthotypes, images similar to photographs but using natural pigments.

The camera obscura and the anthotype come up as a sort of slow photography tool and technique, that will provide the opportunity to get in touch with your surrounding environment (including the people) and enjoy the creative process.
