GuestThe whole front end shifted after that kerb hit – need a chassis specialist in Mussafah
I had a nasty moment last week where I misjudged a turn and hit a high kerb pretty hard with my front wheel, and ever since then the car has felt completely off. The steering wheel is slightly crooked when I’m driving straight, and there’s a weird vibration that I can feel through the floor at highway speeds. I’ve taken it to a couple of general garages and they just said the alignment is out, but they’ve tried twice and still can’t get it right which makes me think the actual chassis or subframe might have taken a knock. I’m genuinely worried there might be some structural damage that’s affecting the suspension mounting points, and I definitely don’t want to be driving around with a compromised frame because I know that can be dangerous in an emergency. A mate who works in the industrial area mentioned a workshop that does proper chassis straightening and uses the right equipment to measure everything properly, rather than just guessing. I’ve been looking for an Expert car chassis repair in Mussafah because I’ve heard there are a few places in that area that actually have the frame-straightening machines and trained technicians to restore the geometry properly, especially for serious jobs like this. Has anyone here had their car’s chassis or subframe repaired after a similar incident, and can you recommend a place that actually took the time to measure everything and didn’t just do a quick patch-up? I’m also curious roughly how long a job like this takes, because I need to arrange alternative transport if it’s going to be a multi-day affair.
