My Acer laptop screen keeps flickering randomly, especially when I open apps

Acer flickering screen problem can be associated with display drivers, refresh rates or hardware issues. To start with, update or reinstall your graphics drivers, since ageing drivers are a frequent problem. The screen refresh rate can also be checked under display settings and ensured that it has the correct settings.

In case the Acer flickering  screen occurs during the act of moving the lid, the display cable may be loose or be damaged. Safe mode can be used to identify whether it is a software problem or not by running your laptop in safe mode. In case the issue persists, there might be a hardware issue and you might require some professional repair.
