GuestSo I’ve got a 2013 Dodge Charger R/T with the Hemi V8, and I love the car but finding a mechanic in Sharjah who doesn’t look at it like it’s from another planet has been a nightmare. I took it to three different places near King Faisal Street for a simple spark plug change and everyone quoted me different prices and told me different things about what parts I needed. One guy said I needed special iridium plugs that cost 80 dirhams each, another said regular copper plugs are fine, and a third said I should do the coils at the same time for an extra 1200. I’m not a mechanic but I know enough to realize when someone is just making things up. A colleague at work mentioned a place called Professional Auto Repair Sharjah but he drives a Japanese car so he wasn’t sure if they work on American stuff. Does anyone here own a Charger, Challenger, or Mustang and have a trusted garage in Sharjah? I’m looking for a shop that has experience with the Hemi engine, knows the common issues, and won’t charge me double just because I drive an American car. I don’t mind driving to industrial areas or even out to Ajman if the place is good. Really just want someone who can do routine maintenance and actual diagnostics without guessing. Any recommendations from actual American car owners would be seriously appreciated because I’m tired of feeling like every shop is experimenting on my car. Thanks in advance.
