      Hey everyone,

I’ve been thinking a lot about what actually matters more on Instagram—having a high follower count or having strong engagement on your posts.

I’ve seen accounts with thousands of followers but very little interaction, and others with smaller audiences that get tons of likes, comments, and shares. It made me question what brands or even the algorithm value more.

As I’ve been trying to grow my own account, I started looking into different strategies and came across things like buy instagram likes. It got me wondering whether boosting engagement numbers early on changes how your content performs overall.

At the same time, I don’t want to focus on vanity metrics if they don’t actually help in the long run.

      So I’m curious:

Would you rather have more followers or higher engagement?
Do you think engagement rate impacts reach more than anything else?
Has anyone seen a noticeable difference after improving engagement specifically?
Interested to hear what’s worked for you all.

      Thanks!
