OK — been on this thing for about a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d say something since someone asked me a few days back. I’m in the UK, mostly stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, so take it how you like.

The reason I started using it was honestly embarrassing — I could never work out what an e/w payout would be with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d eyeball it and get a shock. Now punch the numbers in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator is the bit I open most — type in stake and odds and it spits out profit and total return instantly, either odds format. There’s also the multiples — trebles maths, a lucky 15, a yankee, and that’s where most people I know lose track. If you want a look, it lives at european odds converter and it’s free with no account nonsense.

The thing that really changed how I bet was the more serious bits. There’s an implied probability thing which shows you what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. The dutching one is decent when I’m spreading across selections.

Couple of gripes. The interface is very functional, let’s say — no flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it’s usable though the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. There’s no app, it’s browser only — slight shame but worth saying.

Right, that’s me. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. Anyone who still does the maths on paper, have a look — saves me a fair few arguments with the bookie.
